2024 is shaping up to be a wild one, with a host of free or super-price bike events to introduce you to electric bikes, discover mountain biking or perfect your riding skills and those of your children. So many opportunities to discover or rediscover the North Vaud region!
Afterwork "discovery" on an electric mountain bike
Come and discover electric mountain biking (VTTaE) at the end of the day (6pm-9pm), after work. Outings for all levels, but above all organized in a spirit of "discovery". A great opportunity to discover new local routes and meet new people.
Price :
- Accompaniment: CHF 15/person (offered by Ville d'Yverdon for outings on July 11, August 8 and September 12).

100% Ladie's outings
These regular outings, reserved for ladies, will enable you to rediscover our beautiful region and meet other local cyclists. They are open to everyone, beginners and experienced cyclists alike. The itinerary will be designed by us to suit everyone.

e-Bike outings & special tours
These regular e-bike outings allow you to combine a ride of around 2 hours with a visit toa unique site in the Nord-Vaud region. From micro-breweries to artisanal barrel-making, not forgetting an introduction to foraging in the forest, you'll love them! The final program will be published shortly.

Family outings & picnics/grillades
Our "turnkey" family bike outings are ideal for rediscovering the northern Vaud region, enjoying a Sunday in the great outdoors and meeting new people.
We organize the outing and the route, find a place for dinner, take care of the logistics of setting up a fire pit for grilling, and accompany you throughout the day. We'll leave you in charge of your own grills/picnics and drinks.

Kids Bike Club
The Kids Bike Club is a training program for children, financed by the City of Yverdon and its Sports and Physical Activity Department.
This course, taught by certified instructors from the Swiss Mountain Bike School, is built around 3 progressive modules for children aged 6 to 16. The course objectives are as follows:
- Learn the basic techniques for controlling your bike in urban situations
- Discover mountain biking and learn specific riding techniques (obstacle clearance, cornering, braking, etc.).
- Learn more about the rules of the road in schools
The course will be given over 3 consecutive Wednesdays. By registering your child for one of the sessions on June 5, you also register for the identical session (same time) on June 12 and 19. Ditto for the session starting on July 10; you register your child for the other two modules on July 17 and 24.

- Training: free of charge, offered by the City of Yverdon-les-Bains
- Eventual children's bike rental: free, offered by bikesLab
Public: children aged 6 to 16
Dates and venues :
- June 5, 12 and 19: at the Yverdon-les-Bains skating rink as part of the "ActYv-toi à la patinoire" program.
- July 10, 17 and 24: at Parc des rives (next to the skatepark) as part of the "ActYv-toi dans les parcs et espaces publics" program.
