How much does it cost to rent a bike?

The rental price differs according to the type of bike and the rental period.

The prices are as follows:

  • E-Bike Touring : half day = 30 CHF, full day = 45 CHF
  • Electric mountain bikes: half-day = CHF 50, full day = CHF 70
  • Family E-Bike: half-day = CHF 35, full day = CHF 55
  • Gravel Bike (non-electric): half-day = CHF 30, full day = CHF 50
  • Children's bikes: half day = CHF 10, full day = CHF 15
  • Non-electric mountain bikes: half-day = CHF 20, full day = CHF 30
How can I pay?

When booking online, payment for the rental is made by credit card only.

When booking directly at the rental point, payment by debit card, TWINT or cash is possible.

Our bikes can be booked online, at any time, by clicking here .

Select the desired departure point, enter your departure times and find available bikes directly.

Can't find the bike you're looking for? Give us a call and we'll be happy to help!

IMPORTANT: For reservations in Ste-Croix, please allow 24 hours before your next departure, so that we can assemble the bikes you require (we no longer have fixed premises in Ste-Croix).

What are the addresses and times of the rental points?

The opening hours of our rental points are as follows:

HUB Yverdon Prairie (av. des Bains 9, Bike Hôtel la Prairie): daily, 8 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. (available on request from 5:30 p.m.)

HUB Yverdon Camping (av. des Iris 57, Camping Yverdon-Plage): daily, 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. and 1:30 p.m. to 7 p.m. (8 p.m. during summer vacations)

HUB VD8 (camping du VD8, route de la Grève 1, 1400 Cheseaux-Noréaz): every day from 8:30 am to 12:00 pm and from 2:30 pm to 6:30 pm (8 pm during the summer holidays)

HUB Ste-Croix (no fixed premises): on request only, minimum 24 hours in advance. 

 

How do I find the right tour for my level?

Each tour is detailed on our website. The level of difficulty of each tour is listed in the description of each route.

  • Expert = This course is designed for sporty riders who regularly ride mountain bikes and are comfortable with single trails with roots, rocks and steep sections.
  • Medium = Mixed route (gravel path/single) offering the possibility of discovering the practice of the single, without major obstacles, rolling and with small differences in altitude.
  • Easy = Road/gravel path, without any particular difficulties

 

Do I have to hire a guide to accompany me?

No, accompanying a guide is an option. A guide must be booked at least 24 hours before departure. If you wish to add a guide after the booking process has been completed, please do not hesitate to contact us directly, by email or by phone.
