How much does it cost to rent a bike?
The rental price differs according to the type of bike and the rental period.
The prices are as follows:
- E-Bike Touring : half day = 30 CHF, full day = 45 CHF
- Child bike: half day = 15 CHF, full day = 25 CHF
- Family multi-charging: half day = 35 CHF, full day = 55 CHF
- VTTaE : half day = 50 CHF, full day = 70 CHF
How can I pay?
When booking online, payment for the rental is made by credit card only.
When booking directly at the rental point, payment by debit card, TWINT or cash is possible.
How to book?
Reservations for our bicycles are available online, at any time, directly by clicking here.
IMPORTANT: For your reservations at Ste-Croix, a 24-hour period must be respected before your next departure (especially during the week).
It is still possible to reserve a bike in a shorter period of time. In Yverdon-les-Bains, please contact directly the reception of the Camping Yverdon-Plage. In Ste-Croix, please contact us directly by phone (024/555 18 68).
What are the addresses and times of the rental points?
The opening hours of our rental points are as follows:
HUB Yverdon-les-Bains (av. des Iris 57, Camping Yverdon-Plage): every day, from 8am to 12pm and 1.30pm to 7pm (8pm during the summer holidays)
HUB VD8 (camping du VD8, route de la Grève 1, 1400 Cheseaux-Noréaz): every day from 8:30 am to 12:00 pm and from 2:30 pm to 6:30 pm (8 pm during the summer holidays)
HUB Ste-Croix (rue de l'Aiguillon 4): every day from 9am to 7pm.
HUB Les Cluds (Camping des Cluds, 1453 Bullet): online booking required, 24 hours in advance. Reception open only from 5pm to 7pm.
How do I find the right tour for my level?
Each tour is detailed on our website. The level of difficulty of each tour is listed in the description of each route.
- Expert = This course is designed for sporty riders who regularly ride mountain bikes and are comfortable with single trails with roots, rocks and steep sections.
- Medium = Mixed route (gravel path/single) offering the possibility of discovering the practice of the single, without major obstacles, rolling and with small differences in altitude.
- Easy = Road/gravel path, without any particular difficulties
Do I have to hire a guide to accompany me?
No, accompanying a guide is an option. A guide must be booked at least 24 hours before departure. If you wish to add a guide after the booking process has been completed, please do not hesitate to contact us directly, by email or by phone.
Can I rent a VTTaE in Yverdon-les-Bains?
This is not available on our platform because the VTTaE bikes are physically located in Ste-Croix.
If desired and for a minimum of 2 bikes, we will gladly organise the return of VTTaE for a departure from our HUB in Yverdon-les-Bains. Please contact us by email or phone.
